Nagpur- Two weeks Theatre workshop organized by FUNDOO Learning Systems concluded with the stage show by all participants at Chitanvis Centre.The workshop was organized with the theme Personality Development through Theatre Activities. Children got opportunity to explore all the angles of theatre i.e. Script writing, Direction & Acting. Body language, Voice modulation, Observation skills, Team work, Listening skills, Presence of mind were some of the contents taught through interactive way & through theatre games.
The skills learnt in the workshop were presented by the participants in the form of a drama ‘TIK, TIK, TIK……’ based on Time travel. The dialogues were written by children & props were designed by themselves.The founder of FUNDOO Learning Systems Madhavi Kavishwar shared her view about the workshop. She told Theatre is a powerful tool to teach life skills to children.The theme of the play was Time travel, so the children got opportunity to see the youth of their parents & grandparents. It also helped them to link with the older generations in their real families.
Vedant Buty, Shruti Phatak, Suhana Iyer, Shyamal Peshkar, Paarth Kasture, Parth Pethia, Om Upganlawar, Aditi Upganlawar, Jiya Kurjekar, Kanak Chavhan, Roma Khardenvis, Revati Jog, Ahana Iyer, Avani Bhake, Avani Pachpor, Arnav Banait, Arnav Arya & Manuja Kavishwar were the selected participants for this workshop. All participant were felicitated by certificate.
Ashlesh Jamre, renowned script writer, director & actor was the pilot faculty for this workshop.The show was attended by more than 200 people & highly appreciated. VIA LW President Shachi Mallick, Pankaj Jaiswal from JCI , Rupesh Pawar , Meraki Theatre group, Anu Kale from Swacch Association and audience parents asked to start children theatre movement in city. Madhavi Kavishwar Founder & Director FUNDOO Learning Systems, Amit Kavishwar, Nikita Rathi, Pushpak Bhat & Pooja worked hard for the success of the event.
